The UP1700 was a motherboard that API NetWorks announced in August 2000 for release in Q1 2001, alongside the [[hardware:motherboards:up1500|UP1500]] and [[hardware:motherboards:up2700|UP2700]]. The UP1700 was to support a single socketed [[wp>Alpha_21264#Alpha_21264B|EV68]] processor. API also planned support for 200 MHz DDR SDRAM and other features similar to the [[hardware:motherboards:up2700|UP2700]].
