Actually, the redhat 7.0 alpha disk should start up without any -file or -fl
switches.. Just put the Redhat disk in and type boot dka400..
Assuming your cdrom is dka400. Like Greg said, "do a show config" to see
what the cdrom is.
Also download Jump start from Compaq. This will help load up your secondary
loader into your system.

If you would like to get from SRM to ARC, on my systems I just type ARC at
the SRM prompt..

I use "boot dqb1 -fi Kernels/generic.gz" -fl "root=/dev/hda load_ramdisk=1"
but every time i starts to load block 0 and it always hangs with the text..
"jumping to botstrap code".
Need help, or is there any way to get back to Alphabios,,
I´ve read the faq about srm on alphalinux, without success..
