Ah, ok...forgot that the XP was designed around the end of the "Windows
support Alpha" era.

The chipsets are definitely different (the machines are even in different
families: Miata vs. Tsunami). In fact, the XP1000 is more like a DP264
than anything else.

I'll poke around for a MILO that's tailoured towards that system, but I
don't recall seeing one in the past. How stuck are you on
AlphaBIOS? IIRC, you can use SRM on those systems as well.
