Hello there,

When I run the X configuration it probes and detects a ATI Mach 64 video card. In otherwords it detects the video card that came with the machine. I have also
set the VideoRam param in /etc/X11/XF86Config to 2048 to correspond to the 2MB Ram of the Video Card.

However when I run the gnome window manager and move things around the screen (e.g xterms) it leaves artifacts behind.

Is this a know problem ?.

Does anyone know of a way to overcome this ?.

Cheers then,

Lee.
