I'm having a problem getting online, i installed redhat 6.1 onto my new 15gig
hdd. I configured everything to setup using dhcp, because that is how my
school's internet is set up (ethernet). I am using a kingston ethernet card
(kne100tx). The install finds it, and redhat is using the tulip driver.
When i boot up, it has OK in green, so it finds the card perfectly. When i
type "ifup eth0" it says "determining ip addy...>DONE"" I then proceed to
ping something and it lets me send packages for approx. one second, then it
halts on like the third package sent. I made sure all of my hardware is
fine. Another reason i know the
hardware is fine is because i went through the exact same install on my old
1gig harddrive. I cannot think of any reason why i can ping one second and
not the next, but this is preventing me from getting online.

Pleeeeze someone help me!!
